My Mother’s father was Harold A. Blair.  He was born in 1897 in Rouse’s Point, New York, just across the Canadian Border from where his brother Horton was born previously.  When he was about 14 years old, his family moved to Lakeport California, I believe to relieve health concerns of his father.
